Multiple Full-time, Part-time, Temporary and Weekend positions available
The Administrative Clerks are responsible for patient care coordinating and medical assisting which could include duties such as: the coordination of patient test, patient intakes, checking patients in and out, scheduling of appointments and diagnostic and laboratory procedures. The clerk will also perform reception activities, assembling and maintaining medical records, data entry, and clinical support activities such as performing safety inspections and arranging for courier service for transport and providing requested patient identification materials. The clerks shall also be responsible for monitoring stock of supplies and forms, acquiring meal and snacks for patients and monitoring patient care refrigerator temperatures on a daily basis. Duties may also include transcribing and issuing travel authorization, maintaining and reconciling travel files, arranging patient transportation, using software applications to produce and/or distribute various reports, inputting of patient wait and process time statistics, and control key inventory.
SKILLS:
The Administrative Clerks must have:
• At least 1-2 years of work experience in a private or government medical/clinical environment with patient interface, urgent care or front office experience.
• Strong attention to detail to reduce data entry/filing duplicates and errors.
• Excellent customer service skills in a patient environment.
• The ability to follow rigid guidelines and regulations while being able to multi- task.
• Flexibility to work past scheduled shift, holidays and overtime, as needed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• The ability to lift and carry up to about 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated dependability, reliability and commitment with previous employers.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have documentation to work in the United States.
• Must have excellent credit and be able to successfully pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
