How an organization views change management varies considerably. Managers are generally demanding change versus employees who might challenge or not be convinced change is necessary.

This may require the CFO to look outside their organization for professional assistance to construct the appropriate changes necessary; since they face other internal challenges as well. For example, managing other strategic initiatives, overseeing existing business activities, while considering the impact “new” changes might have on investment return, or its effect on existing operations, the workforce and future performance.
